Police Arrest Five Men for DWI in 14-Hour Period

Police say five men were arrested between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11-12. In one instance, police arrested a 24-year-old Woodbury man after he was pulled over for improper change of course and an open bottle of liquor was found in the vehicle. Around 12:44 a.m. Feb. 12, police arrested a 27-year-old Richfield man for a second-degree DWI and driving after his license had been revoked.

Someone has also been questioned in a separate road rage incident during morning rush hour the morning of Feb. 10 on I-394 and General Mills Blvd.

Feb. 7, 2011:

• 9:32 a.m. Police arrest a 33-year-old Woodbury man on Glenwood Ave. for driving after suspension.
• 1:23 p.m. Police arrest a 37-year-old Burnsville man on Duluth St. and Regent Ave. N for driving without a license.
• 8:56 p.m. Police arrest a person on Highway 169 and Medicine Lake Rd. for driving after their license had been revoked.  

Feb. 8, 2011:

• 10:17 a.m. Police assist a disturbance and disorderly conduct call between neighbors in the 6400 block of Hampshire Pl. N.
• 6:00 p.m. Police respond to a theft valued at $500-$1,000 on the 800 block of Rhode Island Ave. S.
• 10:06 p.m. Police respond to a criminal damage property call at an apartment complex on the 2100 block of Douglas Dr. N. A vehicle window was broken,  valued a $1 to $500. Police say they have persons of interest.

Feb. 9, 2011:

• 7:00 a.m. Police assist an electronic fraud call from a Golden Valley resident. The resident’s credit card was used for unauthorized charges.  
• 10:30 a.m. Police respond to a forced burglary on the 3300 block of Quail Ave. Police say the incident occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.  Electronics valued over $1,000 were stolen. Police do have a suspect in custody.  

Feb. 10, 2011:

• 8:56 a.m. Police respond to a road rage incident on I-394 and General Mills Blvd. The victim reported that someone was driving aggressively with inappropriate behavior. Police have talked to the suspect but have not filed a formal complaint yet.

Feb. 11, 2011:

• 1:09 a.m. Police arrest a 27-year-old St. Paul man on I-394 and Highway 100 for driving while intoxicated. Police initially pulled the man over for improper lane use when the officer suspected the driver was intoxicated. Police are waiting for lab results.  
• 1:44 a.m. Police arrest a 54-year-old Eden Prairie man on I-394 and General Mills Blvd. for driving while intoxicated.
• 1:30 p.m. Police respond to a theft from a vehicle, valued at $500 - $1,000, on the 2300 block of the Louisiana Ave. N.
• 4:26 p.m. Police arrest a 44-year-old St. Louis Park man on Golden Valley Rd. and Xerxes Ave. N for driving without insurance.
• 10:39 p.m. Police arrest a 31-year-old Milwaukee, WI man on I-394 and Highway 100 for driving after suspension, without insurance and failing to display current license plates. He was also arrested on an unrelated warrant arrest.
• 10:40 p.m. Police arrest a 55-year-old Golden Valley man on Winnetka Ave. N and Olympia St. for driving while intoxicated.

Feb. 12, 2011:

• 12:44 a.m. Police arrest a 27-year-old Richfield man on Market St. and Louisiana Ave. S for driving while intoxicated in second degree with two or more aggravated factors, and driving after his license had been revoked.
• 2:45 a.m. Police arrest a 24-year-old Woodbury man on I-394 and Highway 169 for driving while intoxicated. An open container of liquor was also found in the vehicle.  
• 4:09 a.m. Police arrest a 19-year-old Woodbury woman on Winnetka Ave N and Western Ave. for underage consumption.
• 10:28 a.m. Police arrest a 40-year-old Minneapolis man on Winnetka Ave. N and Phoenix St. on a miscellaneous warrant arrest.
• 12:40 p.m. Police arrest a 23-year-old Brooklyn Center man on Highway 100 and Duluth St.  for speeding and driving after suspension.
• 3:10 p.m. Police arrest a 32-year-old Brooklyn Center resident on Golden Valley Rd. and Bonnie Ln. for speeding and driving without insurance.

Feb. 13, 2011:

• 9:00 a.m. Police arrest a 53-year-old Roseville man on Highway 100 and 33 Ave. S for driving after suspension.
• 1:30 p.m. Police respond to a call on the 2300 block of Louisiana Ave. N for theft from a vehicle valued at $500 to $1,000.  
• 1:48 p.m. Police arrest a 22-year-old Minneapolis man on Dultuh St. and Regent Ave N for driving without insurance and with a cracked, discolored windshield obstruction.
• 2:13 p.m. Police arrest a 34-year-old Owatonna woman on Duluth St. and Regent Ave. N for driving after suspension and no proof of insurance.
• 2:50 p.m. Police arrest a 47-year-old New Hope man on Medicine Lake Rd. and Winnetka Ave. N for driving after license cancellation.
