Kyle Boline, 23, of New Hope died after a one-vehicle crash Thursday night in Eden Prairie. 

A news release from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office says he died at about 9:30 p.m. of "multiple blunt force injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash."

A man died and another was injured after the car they were in hit a couple utility poles and rolled in Eden Prairie.

The men were ejected from the Chevy Corvette at around 8 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Eden Prairie Road and Park Terrace Drive, according to a news release from the city of Eden Prairie. 

"Near the intersection of Kurtz Lane, the vehicle left the roadway and struck two utility poles before rolling over and coming to a stop," according to the news release. The crash caused a power outage in the area.

Paramedics took the two men to Hennepin County Medical Center.

"A preliminary investigation indicates excessive speed likely played a role in the accident," according to the Eden Prairie Police Department.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Patrol assisted the Eden Prairie Police Department.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office will release the identity of the man who died. When we get that information, we will update the story.
