Minneapolis Man ID’d as Courage Center Drowning Victim

Kenneth Christopherson's death has been ruled an accident.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified an 88-year-old Minneapolis man as the person who drowned at the Courage Center pool Thursday.

Kenneth Christopherson was found in the pool at about 4 p.m. and was unresponsive when he was pulled from the pool. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center, where he died at 4:50 p.m.

The medical examiner ruled that the cause of death was drowning and that the drowning was accidental.
