Sunny weather greeted participants at the annual Golden Valley Public Safety Open House June 19.
The event took place at the Golden Valley Police and Fire Stations and included a variety of activities that were also a big part of community outreach for the city.
Young and old were able to see a firefighting demo, try their hand at using a fire hose, check out law enforcement vehicles and equipment, learn about CPR, first aid and much more.
Food and refreshments were also available at the Police Station. T-shirts were also available.
