Drunk Driver Reaches Speeds of 100 MPH Before Arrest

The Edina man was arrested on Halloween by Golden Valley Police.

At midnight on Halloween, Golden Valley police arrested an Edina man for speeding, but he wasn't just a few miles over the limit.

According to the Golden Valley arrest report, the 30-year-old had reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour before he was pulled over at the 6000 block of Ryan Avenue South.

The man was also arrested on third-degree DWI charges.

  • A Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of marijuana, obstructing the legal process and theft.

  • Two Minneapolis residents were arrested for theft.

  • A Minneapolis man was arrested on fourth-degree DWI charges.
  • A Duluth man was arrested for driving after revocation and for having an object suspended between the driver.
  • A Shallot man was arrested for disorderly conduct.
