At 8:45 a.m. on Jan. 17, the Golden Valley police officers responded to reports of theft involving car parts from the KARE 11 parking lot.
One of the victims, a 41-year-old woman, went out to the parking lot and saw that the catalytic converter on her Lexus had been cut off.
At 9:30 a.m. on the same day, police responded to the same complaint, but this time the converter had been cut from a Toyota.
According to Golden Valley police incident reports, there were no witnesses during the event. No arrests have been made. If suspects are found, they will face felony charges.
