Burglary Tools, Drug Possession, DWI: Golden Valley Arrest Report

On New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Golden Valley police were out in force. In the early morning hours of Jan. 1, officers arrested two drivers on DWI charges. In December, police from Minneapolis, Golden Valley and Hopkins departments arrested more than 100 drunk drivers.

Below is a listing of arrests made by the Golden Valley Police Department between Dec. 31 and Jan. 5:

Dec. 31

• St. Louis Park man arrested for expired tabs and driving after revocation.
• Robbinsdale man arrested on a warrant.
• Brooklyn Park woman arrested for driving after revocation.
• Minneapolis woman arrested for domestic assault, fourth-degree criminal property damage and stolen property.
• Minneapolis woman was arrested for shoplifting and trespassing.
• St. Paul man arrested for driving after revocation.
• Minneapolis man arrested for no driver’s license.

Jan. 1

• Minneapolis woman arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, failure to obey a traffic signal and fourth-degree DWI charges.
• St. Louis Park man arrested on third-degree DWI charges.
• Golden Valley man arrested for driving after suspension.
• Golden woman arrested for obstructing the legal process and shoplifting.
• Minneapolis resident arrested for driving after suspension.

Jan. 2

• Brooklyn Center man arrested for driving without insurance, a headlight violation and driving after revocation.
• Minneapolis man arrested for driving after revocation and traffic charges.
• Brooklyn Center woman arrested for driving after suspension.
• Minneapolis man arrested for driving after revocation. and expired tabs.
• Maple Grove man arrested on traffic charges, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and obstruction of the legal process.
• Vadnais Heights man arrested for driving after suspension.

Jan. 3

• Golden Valley man arrested on a warrant.
• Minneapolis man arrested for driving after revocation, driving without insurance and no headlights.
• Plymouth resident arrested for speeding and driving after suspension.
• Cannon Falls woman arrested on a warrant.

Jan. 4

• Minneapolis man arrested for window tint violations, driving without insurance and driving after revocation.
• Golden Valley man arrested on a warrant.
• Golden Valley man arrested for exhibition driving and driving without insurance.

Jan. 5

• New Hope man arrested for speeding, driving after revocation and a warrant.
• Golden Valley man arrested on third-degree DWI and traffic charges.
• St. Paul man arrested for burglary and possession of burglary tools.
