Siblings Arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Assault

Police received numerous loud music complaints about the home on Independence Avenue where two brothers were arrested for fighting.

A little before 3 a.m. on Sept. 26, Golden Valley Police were called to a home on the 1800 block of Independence Avenue due to complaints of loud music and a possible fight.

When police arrived, they arrested two siblings due to a physical altercation. Golden Valley Crime Analyst Joanne Paul said that neighbors have called police about loud music coming from the home in the past. One brother was arrested for second-degree aggravated assault, and the other was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Other arrests were made in Golden Valley between Sept. 24 and Sept. 30 for the following reasons:

  • Driving after suspension
  • Speeding
  • Failure to provide a driver's license
  • No proof of insurance
  • Failure to signal a turn
  • Fourth-degree DWI
  • Driving after cancellation
  • Improper lane use
  • Second-degree DWI
  • Juvenile runaway
  • Driving without insurance
  • Driving with expired registration
