What's Open, Closed on Thanksgiving in Golden Valley?

Most businesses will be closed Thursday, but some will be open that night as an early start to Black Friday.

Here's a listing of what Golden Valley businesses and establishments will be opened or closed on Thanksgiving.

Banks: Most banks are closed on Thursday, but you should check with your particular branch.

Businesses: Some businesses could choose to close Thursday and/or Friday. Please call ahead before heading out to shop.

City Hall: The Golden Valley city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Fire: Firefighters will be working on Thursday and Friday.

Garbage: Check with your carrier for the garbage pickup schedule this week:

Library: The Golden Valley Library will be closed Thursday but will be open Friday at 10 a.m.

Police: Police officers will be on duty Thursday and Friday.
