School of Rock Performs at Progressive International Motorcycle Show

WHO: By inspiring the world to rock on stage and in life, School of Rock transforms the lives of kids and adults through music. As the leader in performance-based music education, it is an ingenious concept that gets kids and adults rocking out to the classics and on stage performing with peers. Music programs are designed to create a supportive environment where music students of all skill levels are comfortable yet challenged at every turn. In addition to individual private music instruction on guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards and/or drums, students also learn how to jam with their peers in a weekly practice session. The team dynamic creates a supportive and motivating environment where kids feel inspired to excel. Genres of music studied include Rock, Reggae, Motown, Blues, Pop, Metal, and more. The schools offer individual lessons, performance classes, summer camps and workshops. School of Rock just hit its 15 year milestone and has more than 120 locations nationwide.

WHAT: This October through February 2014, School of Rock, a performance-based music school franchise, will be sending aspiring music students from around the country to rock out to the classics at the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows. In twelve cities across the nation, the bands will provide rockin' live entertainment on a large stage with hour-long performances each day. The talented young artists come from more than 45 schools in the following states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, North Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Arizona, Texas, California, Washington and Oregon.

The Progressive International Motorcycle Shows give the public an opportunity to see the latest motorcycles, gear and apparel, UTVs, ATVs, and entertainment, including stunt shows, live music and celebrity appearances. Also returning for the 2013/2014 season is the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show, which features a contest for the number one customized bike out of hundreds in the competition.
