What previous political experience do you have (including other governmental positions you’ve held, whether elected, appointed or volunteer)?

I have interned in the Irish Parliament, as well as the in the office of Rep. Erik Paulsen. Through these experiences, I learned the role and function of public officials on a much larger scale, but the same principles hold true regardless of the level of government.

What other relevant experience do you have?

I am used to being in a leadership role. Whether it was working as a counselor at overnight camp, or as the captain of my college ultimate frisbee team, I am used to and thrive, being in a leadership position. I am used to working with a wide range of diverse people, and acting on behalf of others to work towards a common goal.

What is your occupation?

I am an in-between student. I just graduated from college and I am planning on attending law school next fall. In the meantime, I am looking to get involved with a congressional campaign.

Where did you go to school?

I graduated from Hopkins High School and I graduated college from the University of Kansas.

How old are you?

22

Do you have a spouse, children or any other family members you’d like to tell voters about?

I am not married, but I love my family very much. My mother and father, Francine and Ellis Gottlieb, and my younger sister, Sara.

What are your campaign goals?

My biggest campaign goal is to empower the citizens. Regardless if I win or not, I want the residents of Golden Valley know that their input is crucial for the future of the city and that individuals can make a difference, and that they should stand up for what they believe in.

What issues are you most focused on?

I am most focused on the Bottineau Light Rail project, as the project would fundamentally change our way of life in Golden Valley, and I worry that if not handled properly, this project could present enormous financial and environmental burdens that we cannot handle. I am also focused on responsible redevelopment in the city to both increase our tax base and make Golden Valley a destination city that people want to move to and start their lives.

Why should voters choose you?

Voters should choose me because I am the only candidate that is able to provide a new, fresh, independent voice to represent the citizens of Golden Valley, as I have no preexisting biases or affiliations that could pose a conflict of interests.
