Winter Storm Orko Will Make Driving Difficult Monday

Transportation officials say that heavy snow on Sunday will lead to a difficult Monday morning commute.

Winter storm Orko dumped snow and ice on most of Minnesota Sunday, including Golden Valley. The heavy snowfall will make driving on Monday morning potentially hazardous.

On their  Facebook page Sunday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation urged drivers to be careful:

Plan ahead now. Leave early for work or work from home if that is possible. When driving, slow down, drive for the road conditions. Give plows room to work. And, the plows are out!!

On Twitter, Hennepin County said that all plows were tackling the snow Sunday.
