UPDATED: Theodore Wirth Parkway Closed July 25 & 26

Keep an eye out for this road closure.

According to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board:

The closure of Theodore Wirth Parkway will be delayed one day. Instead of beginning at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, the parkway will be closed beginning Wednesday, July 25 from 6:30 a.m. until approximately 7:00 p.m. July 26. If it rains either Wednesday or Thursday, the closure may extend into Friday, July 27.

The parkway will be closed between I-394 and Highway 55 to allow Minneapolis Public Works to repair areas where the asphalt has failed. Glenwood Avenue will remain open.
