Slippery Roadways Leads to Crash on 394 in Golden Valley

The snow is gone, but commuters still dealt with slippery roadways Wednesday morning.

At about 8:50 a.m., Minnesota Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed an incident on Interstate 394 and Wirth Parkway that caused law enforcement to shut down one lane.

According to the Star Tribune, "ramps and bridges are slippery in places."

On Twitter,  Lt. Eric Roeske from the Minnesota State Patrol said that from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, troopers handled 215 crashes and 316 spinouts throughout the state.
