Man Gets Four Years in Prison for Conspiring to Distribute Cocaine

In a court hearing Tuesday, Mar. 5, Brian Funtaneous Mack of Robbinsdale was sentenced to 51 months in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine.

According to a United State Department of Justice press release, Mack conspired with two Burnsville residents--McCelendon Miller and Kelly Suzette Chase--to obtain cocaine and distribute it.

On Feb. 9, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant of Chase’s apartment and found 249 grams, or half a pound, of cocaine and a firearm.

In a plea agreement, Mack, Chase and Miller admitted that from Jan. 2012 to Feb. 9, they worked together to obtain cocaine and eventually distribute it.
