The time to sign up for Golden Valley's Safety Camp is running out. The deadline to register is May 9.

Editor's Note: "Last Chance" is a new feature that reminds readers about important deadlines. The following content was provided by Golden Valley.

The deadline to register for the popular Golden Valley Safety Camp is May 9 at 4:30 pm. Set for Tuesday, June 26, 8 am – 4 pm, Safety Camp is designed to give youth entering second, third, and fourth grades safety education in a camp setting.

Camp counselors (City police and fire personnel) will oversee an interactive program that includes fire safety, bike safety, first aid, safety in the home, and much more. While safety education serves as the primary focus, fun, friends, and feeling good are also highlighted. Awards are presented to all participants. Limited to 100 youth.
