Do you Know Golden Valley's Snow Rules?

With temperatures dropping, it won't be long until Golden Valley's streets become snow-covered.

According to Golden Valley's City News, here is what you need to know about Golden Valley's snow rules:

  • City ordinance prohibits removing snow and ice from private property (including driveways and parking lots) to a roadway, across a roadway, or onto a sidewalk or adjacent property.
  • Parking is prohibited on public streets after a snowfall of at least two inches until snow has been plowed to the curb line.
  • Vehicles in violation are cited by patrolling police. Vehicles found to be obstructing traffic or snow plows, and those still in violation after 24 hours, may be towed.
