Cleaning Associate Job in Golden Valley!

Room & Board, located in Golden Valley, is looking for a Cleaning / Light Maintenance Associate to ensure our building interiors and exteriors are maintained at the highest level. They are dedicated to providing a comfortable experience for staff members, visitors and customers.  The hours for this role are Monday -- Friday, 10:30am -- 7:00pm

Responsibilities include:

· Clean and maintain offices, showroom, break rooms, restrooms, fitness center and locker rooms on our Golden Valley campus.

· Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming, through the use of heavy duty janitorial machinery as well as stripping and waxing floors.

· Gather and empty trash and recycling.

· Maintain the cleanliness of the building grounds and parking lot by picking up debris, completing snow removal and power washing of walkways, completing basic landscape work and window washing.

· Move and arrange furniture as needed, and assist with the setup of rooms/resources for meetings and special events.

· Perform a variety of general maintenance duties which could include basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and other light repairs.

The successful candidate takes pride in a clean work environment and has a strong attention to detail. Ideally they will have 1-3 years of cleaning experience  and will also have light maintenance experience. This individual must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse staff. They must also have the ability to lift and move objects, up to 50 pounds. Adaptability and organization is a plus.
