Would You Like A PizzaRev in Golden Valley?
With a minority stake in PizzaRev, Golden Valley-based Buffalo Wild Wings is looking for sites for the pizza place in the metro.
Ever heard of PizzaRev?
It's been said it's the "Chipotle" of pizza places, but has yet to be in the Twin Cities. PizzaRev is well-known in other areas of the country for creating your own pizzas that are then baked quickly for your convenience.
But that might change if Buffalo Wild Wings brings the PizzaRev concept to the metro.
According to the MSP Business Journal online, the Golden Valley-based Buffalo Wild Wings, which bought a minority stake in the build-your-own-pizza chain in March, is "actively looking for sites for our own PizzaRev locations in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area," said CEO Sally Smith during the company's second-quarter conference call on July 30.
When could this new pizza business come to the metro? Possibly in the first part of 2014. PizzaRev is based in Los Angeles and was recently nominated for City Search Los Angeles' Best Pizza in L.A.
