Top Golden Valley Companies Recognized
Inc.com released a listing of some of the nation's fastest growing companies, including four Golden Valley-based businesses.
According to Inc.com, four businesses in Golden Valley made the cut for Inc.’s top 5,000 fastest growing entrepreneurial companies in the nation.
ranked 614, Renters Warehouse ranked 787, The Informatics Group ranked 1,659 and Orion Associations ranked 3,087.
Inc.’s listing includes percentages that reflect each company’s growth in a three year time span. Bulk Reef Supply grew 594 percent over the last three years. The company, which specialises in aquarium carbon sales, has 26 employees, 21 of which were added over the last three years.
While Bulk Reef Supply is 614th on the total list, the company is ranked in the top 10 for companies in the Minneapolis area.
The top company on Inc.’s listing was Unified Payments based in Florida. According to Inc., in 2008 Unified Payments reported revenues of roughly $250,000. By 2011, their revenue numbers skyrocketed to $59.5 million with just 31 employees.
