Three.Nine.Four Takes Another Step Forward

The apartment and senior housing complex won approval from Golden Valley's Housing and Redevelopment Authority.

Golden Valley’s Housing and Redevelopment Authority signed off on the Three.Nine.Four apartment and senior housing complex last week, the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal reported.

The project at the northwest corner of Highway 100 and Interstate 394 will bring 314 market-rate units to Golden Valley.

Project planners envision it as a buffer between the interstate and residential areas. But nearby Circle Down residents worried that the project could bring "violent change" to the area.

Developers have been working with the City of Golden Valley on this project for about five years, according to council documents.

Plans will go to the City Council late June or July. Groundbreaking is expected in the fall.
