Mortenson to Set Up Shop Downtown During Vikings Stadium Construction
A small project office will be next to the site, according to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.
With the official groundbreaking on the new Vikings stadium planned for this fall, Golden Valley-based Mortenson Construction plans to open a small project office next to the site.
According to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, Mortenson, along with the Vikings and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA), have agreed to lease space at the vacant 1010 Metrodome Square office building. The Vikings plan to open a "preview space," housing some of the team's sales and marketing staff and a mock-up suite, while the MSFA will use the space as its office until it moves to the new facility.
The building is located at 1010 South Seventh Street.
