Last Chance: Views of the Valley Photo Contest

Residents only have a little more than a week to submit photos for the 21st Annual Views of the Valley photo contest.

Entries must be at Golden Valley City Hall before 4:30 p.m. June 7. Photos will be judged in one of three categories:

• Natural Golden Valley (landscapes, flora, fauna, etc)
• Golden Valley Lifestyle (cityscapes, buildings, people, activities, etc)
• Enhanced (photos significantly altered by editing software, lenses, etc)

Golden Valley residents can enter as many as three 5-by-7 color or black-and-white photo-quality prints. Digital files are appreciated but must be accompanied by the print. Slides, photocopies and prints not on photo-quality paper are not allowed. Photos should not be matted or framed.

Winning photos will be published in CityNews and the Golden Valley website. First prize winners in each category will receive $50. The grand prize winner will receive an additional $50. And the people’s choice winner will receive $25.

To enter, complete an entry form and mail or drop it off at Golden Valley City Hall.
