Morris is a Traditional Canadian Ojibwe who escaped from the boarding school authorities and was hidden and educated by his Grandfather for 17 years.

During that time, Morris was trained in the Traditional Ojibwe ways including story telling, ceremonies, culture, customs, singing, dancing, art, canoe building, trapping, hunting, healing, care-giving, and native spirituality.

He now lives in the northern woods of Minnesota sharing his knowledge and craft with his family, friends, Native groups, schools, and even the DNR.
