Pick and Preserve in JD Rivers' Children's Garden

Children and parents have a chance to harvest and can fresh produce on Wednesday in Theodore Wirth Park.

Throughout August, families will have several chances to get outdoors and enjoy fresh-picked produce in JD Rivers' Children's Garden.

The first opportunity is Wednesday, at the Intergenerational Can'n and Jam'n.

The garden is north of Glenwood Avenue in the eastern part of the park. To the east is a restored prairie. Look for the big Adirondack chair.
