PHOTOS: Signs of Spring in Golden Valley
People flocked to parks and playgrounds in Golden Valley to enjoy the weather.
The calendar might say March, but recent temperatures have felt more like May. The warm up is encouraging Golden Valley residents to soak up some sun and take advantage of the outdoor opportunities the city has to offer.
"I can't believe it's so nice already," Mary Kim said while she pushed her two children on the swing at Brookview Park. "I love it."
Kim wasn't alone. The playground was full of parents and children, all sporting shorts and sunglasses.

"A mild winter and an early spring, I'll take it," Wilunda Vein said. "I plan on doing some yard work and taking the kids to the neighborhood park."
