Photo Gallery: 2011 Golden Valley Days
Saturday was a mix of rain and sun, but the parade, kids games, artist booths and fireworks all went off without a hitch.
With all the severe weather on Sunday, it's hard to believe that Saturday seemed so rough. We had some rain, several afternoon hours of sun and then the threat of a tornado just after dinner time. Â
But then cleared in time for a magnificent fireworks show from Brookview Community Park on Saturday night just after 9:00.
, we waited to post the pics from Golden Valley Days. But as severe storms tend to bring us together, so did the festival, as organizers work toward the same goal each year: bring unity into the community.
