Pet of the Week: Meet Rockin’ Ringo!

This young pit bull could be your spring sweetheart.

It’s almost March, and the first signs of spring will appear in a matter of weeks. Why not find an energetic and cute companion who will motivate you to enjoy the fresh air and see the first spring blooms on a beautiful day?

Ringo is your guy. First of all, I love his name. As a huge Beatles fan, I  love his rockstar name. This dog also lives up to his identity. He’s a memorable pup with a huge zest for life. You won’t want to sit down for too long because he will put a nice pep in your step!

Ringo is a 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier Mix pup that loves to run around and play outside. He's not an ounce shy when it comes to giving kisses and showering you with affection, either.

While pit bulls are commonly associated with negative perceptions of being aggressive and intimidating, Ringo’s kind demeanor proves this to be a misconception.

Ringo is a participant in the ’s Project Pit Bull adoption program. The goal is to match exceptional pit bulls with exceptional owners. It is important that Ringo’s adopter commits to ongoing training and socialization to ensure he remains a shining example of a well-mannered pit bull. To help achieve this, adopters receive a free 8-week training pass to Animal Humane Society’s Training School at the Coon Rapids, Golden Valley, Woodbury, or Now Boarding locations.
