There's a wide array of Golden Valley posts on Craigslist. Here's a few recent posts, one looking for a cat and another looking for a good home for their hamster:
Guitar player looking to form band:
"I am a guitar player who is currently looking for a solid bass player, drummer , keys and a vocalist for a kind of catchy garage rock sound .I am looking for a style that would be similar to that of bands like dr dog, alabama shakes, the lumineers, etc.I am 36 and would like to work with people somewhere around my age if possible.I'm thinking this would be a half covers half original project. atleast to start with. also I would like to work with people who would eventually be willing to gig on a regular basis, in other words more than a couple times a month.ideally what I would like to do is write matierial that is very simple and audience oriented with strong musical and vocal hooks.male or female musicians or vocalists are welcome to respond.thanks guys hope to here from you. ps if you are a vocalist a sample would be appreciated."
Dwarf hamster and set up:
"I have a 3 month old dwaf hamster I am looking to give to a good home. I just don't have the time to care for him as much as I would like to. He comes with a full set up which includes his cage with wheel, food dish, lower and upper compartments, water container, a little green house he loves to sleep in, exercise ball, and food and bedding (which will last you several months). Asking $20 for all supplies. Email if interested!"

Lost cat in the rain:
"Our cat went off exploring last night, got caught in the rain and hasn't returned. She is calico with a kink in her tail. She should have a green collar with her name, Minou, and contact info. We live near Duluth St. and Douglas Drive. If you've seen her, please let us know, we miss our cat!"
