Golden Valley Library? There's an App for That.

The Hennepin County Library launched the new mobile app today.

If you’re a smartphone user, access to the and all of Hennepin County's libraries will be at your fingertips wherever you go starting today.

“While you are standing in line at the grocery store, taking a break at work, or waiting for your next appointment, you can request a title, see how late your library is open, and find out about upcoming library programs,” saysLois Langer Thompson, Hennepin County Library director.

The  free mobile application is compatible with most smartphones, including Android, Blackberry, J2ME, Palm OS, Symbian S60, Windows Mobile, and iPhone.
