In the last two weeks, the Golden Valley Planning Commission and City Council have been busy reviewing plans for a number of changes that could come to Golden Valley. A new apartment building, renovations to a portion of the city and a new retail center are all developments that could soon come to Golden Valley.

Housing and Redevelopment Authority commissioners met this week to review a proposed public improvement plan that would revamp six parcels of land along Highway 55.

The multi-unit apartment building would be constructed on Highway 55 and Golden Valley Road.

Minnesota School of Basketball Will Move to Golden Valley

The City Council approved the conditional use permit for the new business, which will move to the warehouse on the 8000 block of 7th Avenue North.
