It's Thursday and you have no idea what to do this weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue with ideas in and around Golden Valley.

Yes, that really is the sun, and yes, it really did hit 70 degrees. So why are you staying home this weekend?

We're celebrating moms this weekend, but that doesn't mean the only thing on the agenda has to be brunch on Sunday.

Here's what's going on in and around Golden Valley this weekend:

Golden Valley

When: Saturday, May 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: This “New York Street Fair” will provide a nice midday amount of entertaining games, peformances and food.
Price: Free general admission

When: Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Test out the newest handcycles, bicycles and tricycles that are out on the market.
Price: Free

St. Louis Park

When: Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, May 8 at 2 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Enjoy this local high school’s wildly popular spring musical.
Price: Adults $10, Students $6, Children under 5 are free

When: Saturday, May 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: The lady in your life can freshen up on health tips and partake in a scavenger hunt
Price: Free

Minnetonka

When: Friday, May 6 from 5-10 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: This 21+ event is stacked with celebritiy meet and greets, comedy shows, dancing and more.
