Animal Relief Efforts Underway After Tornado
Local organizations including the Animal Humane Society are helping animals displaced by Sunday's destructive storm.
Sunday’s tornado has left many in the Twin Cities picking up the pieces, and some are without a home to go to or food to eat. Those victims are more than just neighbors and friends—they are man’s best friend and other animals displaced and lost because of the storm.
To help in caring for these animals during this difficult time, the is on standby to support the animal relief efforts of the American Red Cross Twin Cities Chapter and Minneapolis Animal Care & Control. The assistance will include help with food, comfort and shelter.
