The Kakehashi (Bridge for Tomorrow) Project: Armstrong Students Share their Japan Experience

Twenty-three students from our school district took part in this initiative designed to encourage greater understanding between the youth of Japan and the United States. Funded by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and two partneringorganizations, their 10-day trip was packed with visits to shrines & temples, museums, festivals, inns, the House of Representatives, host school and included a homestay.
Come hear their reflections on Japanese:schools, home life, FOOD, music, culture, tradition, more! plus how they now see things differently.
