Perpich Arts High School still accepting applications

Perpich Arts High School, a statewide public school open to 11th and 12th grade students throughout Minnesota who have a passion for the arts, will continue to accept applications until 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 15.

Applications may be downloaded at http://perpich.mn.gov/ahs/adminfo.html or picked up at the school, 6125 Olson Memorial Highway in Golden Valley between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Students applying to Perpich may choose among seven arts areas: artscience, dance, literary arts, media arts, music, theater and visual arts. After making the initial application, students are invited to admission reviews during which they audition if applying in the performing arts or submit portfolios for review if they are in the studio arts or literary arts. Artscience applicants receive a reading to complete and then prepare a response to the reading. Admission review dates will be mailed to all students whose applications are accepted.
