MN Casting Call for SONY film - Boy 8-10 years old (caucasian)

Principal casting search for Cameron Crowe film! Boy age 8-10 (11, if smaller). Looking for a sweet, VERY bright boy. MITCHELL: Caucasian. An aspiring filmmaker, he always has a video camera in his hands, taping everything. He's obsessed w/Hawaiian myths/folklore & has tons of books on the subject. Some see him as a pesky kid w/a camera, but he tapes everything he sees going on at the Air Force base. Smart beyond his years! This is NOT a Hawaiian kid (he's a kid from the mainland who's spent most of his life growing up on the base).
