Human Rights Commission Movie Night

Join the Golden Valley Human Rights Commission for a movie night and panel discussion on the topic of bullying.  On Thursday November 21, 6:30 pm, in the City Hall Council Chambers the HRC will be holding a community event focused on bullying. We will be showing the movie “Minnesota Nice?” it is a documentary featuring interviews with students across Minnesota, most of whom have been victims of bullying; directed by Edina native Alec Fischer. After the movie we will be having a community discussion about the movie. You can find more about the event here: HRC movie night

Please also consider bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to benefit the PRISM food drive event.  Collection barrels will be located in the lobby of City Hall. Items needed include flour, sugar, cooking oil, canned tuna, canned chicken, peanut butter, pasta sauce, pasta, cereal, and condiments (salsa/ketchup/salad dressing/mayonnaise)
