Though Concerts in the Parks is over for the summer, there are still free events for the family in Golden Valley.
Bring a picnic and enjoy a performance by The Flyers from 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Brookview Park.
According to The Flyers' website: "Since 1983, Roger and Marnie have performed 3500 times from Portland to Toronto, from Oklahoma City to Chicago, from Minneapolis to Ely...before more than a million children and adults!
The Flyers’ one-of-a-kind interactive concerts feature a marvelous variety of catchy songs, fun movement, dry humor and colorful props. Each show is carefully prepared to connect with the age range and tastes of the audience."
