On Tuesday, June 19, Hopkins Junior High is hosting its inaugural Hopkins Student Film Festival. The hour-long event will feature short films produced by West and North Junior High ninth-grade students. The films will start rolling at 7 p.m. at the Hopkins Center for the Arts (1111 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN, 55343) in 102 JC Studio. The event is free and open to the public. Join us and see what the kids are up to.

The Hopkins Center for the Arts is a local institution supporting itself through community donations and membership enrollment. The center serves the community by hosting musical performances, art festivals, literary readings and creative classes as well as maintaining a gallery that regularly rotates fine art exhibits. Additionally, the facilities can be rented out for rehearsals, shows, events and instructional classes.
