Named after the first person to walk on the moon, Robbinsdale Neil A. Armstrong Senior High School serves students from Golden Valley, Robbinsdale, Crystal, New Hope and, of course, Plymouth. The school offers core subjects, technology education, physical education and the fine arts. Newsweek ranked the school #800 in their "List of the 1500 Top High Schools in America," and the American Music Conference has ranked Armstrong  as one of the "100 Best Communities for Music Education." The school's athletic programs have made it to state competitions on many occasions.
