As we all know, school starts in Minnesota this week. I feel like I have been “taken to school” frequently by my two kids over the summer months.
This summer, I especially noticed an increase in the money and job questions that my kids asked me. For the first time that I can remember, my kids are paying much closer attention to my job and how I earn a living.
My kids now routinely ask me questions about money and work. I am now wondering if other teen age parents have had similar experiences.
My kids are a 17-year-old boy, and a 15-year-old girl. Both attend a local private school.
In the next few blog posts, I am going to address both the questions and the answers that my kids talked about over the summer months in regard to money and work.
If you received any similar money and work questions recently, let me know. It might be of interest to you how a professional money manager parent answered those same questions.
