In a Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA)  meeting on Jan. 8, HRA members agreed to sell a portion of land near Dahlberg Drive to Golden Valley’s Koch Trucking.

Meeting documents show that an amendment to a private development agreement would allow Koch Trucking to purchase a parcel of land owned by Bank Mutual.

As part of the purchase agreement, Koch Trucking agreed to clear the current piece of land and construct a 50-car parking lot with lighting. Parking lot construction will have to adhere to city specifications.

Koch Trucking is part of the large, privately-owned Koch Companies operating since the 1950s. It is a full-service trucking and distribution company that offers shipping options such as satellite communication and tracking, regional and specialized fleet services.
