Suspected Ex-girlfriend Fills Resident's Gas Tank With Sugar

No arrests have been made in the incident that occurred on Nov. 27.

We all know that "a teaspoon of sugar helps the medicine go down."

But sugar poured into a gas tank is a different story.

One Golden Valley resident is dealing with the issue, along with two flat tires and scratched paint, according to a Golden Valley Police Department incident report.

On Nov. 27, Golden Valley police officers responded to a report of property damage at the 1700 block of Lilac Drive North.

According to the incident report, a Chrysler was found with punctured tires, scratched paint and "sugar put in the gas tank."  The report states that the victim suspects his "jealous ex-girlfriend" committed the crime.

The suspect, if found and arrested, could be charged with felony first-degree criminal property damage.
