KARE 11 and the Star Tribune reported that Golden Valley police are still trying to understand what happened to the woman who was found dead in a pond Thursday morning.

According to KARE 11, an onlooker saw a car submerged near the intersection of Winnetka Avenue and 23rd Avenue North. When first responders arrived, they found the body of a woman.

Both KARE 11 and the Star Tribune reported that police have not revealed the identity of the woman, or how she entered the pond.
