Saturday morning, the Tri Loppet Triathlon was held in the urban setting of Minneapolis and Golden Valley. This is not your typical triathlon. It starts with an 8k paddle (canoe or kayak), 5k run (mostly on dirt/grass trails), and ends with 11k bike (a mix of blacktop and dirt/gravel trails). Great live music, food, and beverages were at the finish line for athletes and spectators.
