Hazardous Weather Outlook for Hennepin County, Golden Valley

The National Weather Service says storms could be in the forecast for the next seven days.

 

The dry spell may be over. On Tuesday at 4:55 a.m., the National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook statement for a number of counties, including Hennepin County.

According to the statement, isolated storms will move through central Minnesota this afternoon. Some of the storms could produce hail.

From Wednesday to next Monday, the National Weather Service says to expect unstable weather. According to the statement:

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MAINLY EAST CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...AS WELL AS WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. SOME STORMS COULD APPROACH SEVERE LIMITS.

Today, for Golden Valley, expect to see more rain between 1 and 4 p.m. with thunderstorms likely tomorrow.
